Hylands House is the perfect setting for a stylish and elegant wedding reception. A wedding breakfast for up to 80 people can be held in the beautifully ornate Banqueting Room, and an evening reception for up to 120 people can be held in the central area of the House.
If you wish to hold your ceremony at a church or alternative venue and hire Hylands House just for your reception, we offer a reception-only price for hire of the venue from 4pm to midnight on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. For Saturdays, there is one set charge for hiring the venue from 10am – midnight. Please see our wedding prices page for further information about our charges.
Hylands House is hired on a venue-only basis and the venue will be exclusively yours throughout your wedding. The hire charge includes the services of our dedicated Hirings Co-ordinator, Duty Manager and House staff on the day and the evening bar facilities.
Catering is provided separately by external caterers. A list of approved caterers is part of our wedding pack, which can be downloaded using the link on the right hand side of this page. For all other services, eg DJs and photographers, you are welcome to select any company of your choice. We simply ask them to sign an agreement that ensures they have the appropriate licences, insurances etc to work safely within our venue.
